Official invite links
Two invites matter for Corsair Cove players. Use the publisher server first for general community, patch chatter, and achievement help; use the Limbic server when you want direct dev-adjacent feedback or studio streams.
| Server | Invite | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Hooded Horse Discord (primary) | https://discord.gg/hoodedhorse | Player help · patch notes · Hooded Horse announcements · achievement trigger questions |
| Limbic Entertainment (secondary) | https://discord.gg/X4k7c49P | Developer streams · feedback · bug repro with save details |
| Steam store | https://store.steampowered.com/app/1368140/Corsair_Cove/ | Purchase · official news · public bug threads |
Why Hooded Horse hosts the main invite
Hooded Horse publishes Corsair Cove alongside other strategy titles, so the primary Discord is a multi-game hub rather than a Corsair-only island. That is normal for Hooded Horse releases — one verified moderation team, one invite linked from Steam, and Corsair-specific rooms grouped once you are inside https://discord.gg/hoodedhorse.
When to use the Limbic developer server
https://discord.gg/X4k7c49P is the secondary Limbic Entertainment community — useful when you are reporting reproducible bugs (Fetchers stuck, combat soft-lock, deed not firing) or following studio Q&A during launch windows. Player-to-player tips still happen faster on the Hooded Horse server where more Corsair Cove owners congregate.
This wiki is unofficial
Corsair Cove Guide (this site) is fan-run. Balance numbers and achievement names on Discord may move ahead of our pages after hotfixes — always confirm against the Steam overlay and Steam news.
How to join
Joining takes under a minute with an existing Discord account. New accounts work too — you may hit slower rate limits until email or phone verification completes.
- Do01Click Join Discord in the page hero or open discord.gg/hoodedhorse
- Do02Choose Open Discord in browser or launch the desktop / mobile app
- Do03Sign in or create a Discord account
- Do04Accept the Hooded Horse server invite prompt
- Do05Read and accept server rules when shown
- Do06Complete any newcomer verification step (button or reaction — varies by season)
- Do07Use Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac) and search "Corsair" to jump to game channels
- Do08Introduce yourself in the appropriate general or help room before cross-posting the same question everywhere
Desktop vs mobile
Desktop Discord is easiest for sharing screenshots of red Fetcher paths, compass deeds, or achievement overlay text. Mobile works for reading patch pings and quick questions, but logistics troubleshooting is smoother on PC where the game runs.
If the invite fails
Permanent vanity invites like hoodedhorse rarely expire. If a link fails, check the latest post on Steam or Hooded Horse social channels — they re-pin https://discord.gg/hoodedhorse. Do not trust regenerated links in YouTube comment sections.
Account safety
Official staff will not DM you for Steam passwords, gift cards, or "free Corsair Cove keys." Report impersonators to moderators. This wiki never asks for Discord tokens — only the public invites above.

Channels (TBA)
Exact Corsair Cove channel names are not verified on this wiki yet — Hooded Horse may rename rooms after launch without updating third-party guides. Use the table below as a placeholder checklist of what to look for after you join; do not treat invented channel names as official.
| Purpose (TBA name) | What you will find | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| #corsair-announcements (TBA) | Patch notes · maintenance · store sales | After every Steam download |
| #corsair-general (TBA) | Beginner questions · island screenshots | First camp stuck on stew or Fetchers |
| #corsair-help (TBA) | Mechanics troubleshooting · achievement triggers | When overlay text disagrees with wiki |
| #corsair-builds (TBA) | Compass paths · cliff layouts · production tips | Mid-game optimization |
| #corsair-bugs (TBA) | Repro steps · save details | Soft-locks — also consider Limbic dev server |
| #corsair-lfg (TBA) | Reserved — game is single-player at launch | Future use if co-op ever ships |
How to find channels without official names
After joining https://discord.gg/hoodedhorse, open the channel list sidebar and scan category headers for "Corsair", "Cove", or "Hooded Horse games." Server search (Ctrl+K) with keyword Corsair Cove surfaces threads even when channel names change. Pin whichever help room moderators mark as the canonical Q&A channel for launch week.
Do not trust copied channel names from random wikis
Other fan sites may invent labels like "#codes" or "#trading" — Corsair Cove has no redeemable codes and no Steam trading-card economy tied to Discord. If a channel is not visible inside the official server, it does not exist.
What to use Discord for
Discord fills gaps a single-player city builder wiki cannot — live patch reactions, screenshot builds, and "did anyone else get this achievement pop?" threads. These are the highest-value uses at launch.
Achievement and deed confirmation
With 62 Steam achievements and 160 compass deeds, players constantly ask whether a trigger fired correctly. Post overlay screenshots (not save files) when asking — see achievements for the full researched checklist before you post.
Logistics and red-path emergencies
Fetcher routes turning red after a cliff expansion is the most common beginner blocker. Describe warehouse placement, path color, and whether the building shows No Pirate Camp Connection — then compare answers to logistics guide and vertical building.
Bug reports worth sending to Limbic
For crashes or deed locks, post on Hooded Horse or https://discord.gg/X4k7c49P with platform (Steam / Epic / Game Pass), Story vs Uncharted, and steps to reproduce. Gameplay balance opinions belong in general chat; reproducible bugs belong in feedback channels.
FAQ
Is there a codes channel?
No. Corsair Cove is a paid PC release on Steam, Epic, and Game Pass — there are no redeemable Discord codes. Ignore "free key" spam DMs.
Which server should I join first?
https://discord.gg/hoodedhorse for player help and announcements. Use https://discord.gg/X4k7c49P when you have a detailed bug report or want dev stream notifications.
Are channel names on this page official?
No — the channels table uses TBA placeholders until moderators publish a fixed channel map. Search "Corsair" inside the server instead of trusting invented names from third-party sites.
I have not bought the game yet — can Discord help?
Yes for general questions and demo talk. Start with the free Steam demo linked from Steam, then read beginner guide before asking build questions.
Where do I go after joining?
Beginner guide for first-hour setup · guides hub for the full route list · achievements if you are hunting Steam unlocks.
Does Discord replace this wiki?
No — Discord is real-time chat; this site holds structured databases (buildings, ships, chains). Use both: wiki for reference tables, Discord for patch-day questions.
